What to see
The Village Milieu
The village is one of the most complete traditional villages in Viena Karelia. The village was once the home of folk writer Ortjo Stepanov. The house where he lived and produced most of his literary works is later going to be converted into a literature museum.
Ontto´s house
The largest house in the village is named after a fictional character from a novel by Ortjo Stepanov. It will soon be restored in order to be used for cultural tourism. In the future, it will function as an inn and restaurant for travellers.

The old graveyard is the final resting place for eight generations of the village's inhabitants. The graveyard is one of the most beautiful in Viena.
