Epic poetry seminar

On UNESCO’s World Poetry Day, March 21, 2023, an Epic poetry seminar will be held in Juminkeko on the topic of Finno-Ugric epics.

The event is part of Kuhmo is a cultural capital of Finno-Ugric World program.

The program will be announced later.

Juminkeko Cultural Centre is an exquisite example of the Finnish wooden architecture.

The Foundation Juminkeko publishes books, CDs and short movies.

Juminkeko features one of the biggest Kalevala collection in the world.
